Business plan
Annet has a 2 acre plot of land where she does her crop farming, she cultivates crops like sweet potatoes, bananas and cassava and at times she also grows some beans and Maize. Annet then later harvests her crops and sells them to the small stall owners or at times she leases her whole harvest to other traders. Annet says that at the moment most of her crops have not yet fully matured and yet her customers still make orders for food that is why she wants to take out a loan and be able to lease some sweet potato garden where she will be able to get food and supply to her customers. Annet says this will help her keep her business running and she will be able to make more profits that in return she will use to help her husband educate their children.
Personal situation
Annet was born in Masaka district and its where she studied up to her primary six and then dropped out of school after the death of her father since her mother did not have the money to educate her further. She later got married and of recent her husband gave her land where she cultivates food in plenty and then she sells off some of it.
