Business plan
Lillian does runs a tailoring shop at Kulubi trading centre. She buys materials from Kampala and makes a couple of products from them like uniforms, gomesi. For instance she makes baby clothes and bed sheets for those low income earners in her neighborhood, who happen to be the majority and cannot afford new clothes or bed sheets for their babies. She also makes bed sheets for mature people which are much cheaper than buying custom made or new ones. With the help of the loan Lillian hopes to improve her business by bringing in more clothes materials and sell to her customers at a good price and therefore increasing her income in the process.
Personal situation
Lillian is a born of kulubi and she says that she dropped out of school in senior two after the death of her father, she was then enrolled for a tailoring course which she studied for two years and after her mother bought her a sewing machine and she started working.
