Business plan
Lydia is a stone quarry lady and she pays for space before starting to dig the stones from top to underground. She says that each day labor is very expensive because those who dig are different and those who split them. She also split the stones but hard cores are worked on by men. There are different types of stones and shapes, quarter inch, half inch, hard core, block slates, slates, among others. In a week she makes 4 vehicles of both hard core and quarter inch stones. She expects the loan to enable her earn more profits and pay the loan and also buy a plot of land because the space can take her 3 years while mining.
Personal situation
Lydia studied up to senior four and dropped out of school because her parents didn’t have money. She later went to work for people in the stone mines until she got some capital to start her own stone quarry.
