Business plan
Prossy has a small farm in her home of pigs and chicken and two cows. She intends to make business out of it by increasing their numbers, feeding them well and also treating them to prevent diseases and worms which impede their growth rate. She therefore asks for a loan so that she can buy other pigs and chicken as well as feed and vaccines required to meet that objective. At present she owns 10mature pigs, 13 piglets and 20 locally bred chicken but has hopes of doubling these numbers with time to make business sense out of her investments, Prossy also has a banana plantation where she gets matooke for sale from. She specifies that her husband is a trader and is afraid that his income may not be sufficient to cater for the children’s school fees and feeding at home in the future.
Personal situation
Prossy a mother of 3 has no job but she rears her animals to get income. She studied up to senior and dropped out because her parents were not well off and could not afford to pay her school fees and that is when she got a man who married her and brought her to mukono.
