Rose buys her plastic ladies and children’s shoes from Kampala at Kikuubo from the wholesale Chinese shops and transports them to the store in Kisoga where she later sells them in different markets on different days for example on Tuesday she sells in Ntenjeru, Wednesday Mpaata, Thursday Mpunge and on Friday she does not sell, she stays at home to do her domestic work and on Saturday she sells in Katosi then Sunday Kisoga. Rose says the business has been very profitable therefore she decided to take out a loan to enable shop once in a week and in bulk.
Personal situation 
Rose was born from Katente village Mukono District, studied up primary six and dropped after conceiving and later stayed with her husband up to date. She started a saloon in Kisoga and later resorted to vending shoes to different markets.
