Business plan
Pauline is a farmer with 2 goats, 3 pigs 1 acre of sweet potatoes. She uses traditional hand tools to grow cabbages which are profitable. Her husband helps her in the farm and they produce output almost every month. The challenge is she needs to hire land in swampy areas to plant cabbage so as to have constant output. She also roasts bananas and maize after garden work at the roadside in her trading centre every evening. The challenge is she sometimes has to wait for the bananas to ripen and at such times she is redundant. The loan will also help her buy ripe bananas to roast at all times so as to maintain her earnings.
Personal situation
Pauline was born from Banda Ssunga village in Mukono District, studied up senior one and later dropped out due to the death of her father. She stayed with her mother for 2 years and after that she got a man and got married.
