Business plan
Harriet sells food items along Kisoga Nakayaga road. She stocks green vegetables, silver fish, tomatoes, spices and cooking oil among others. She buys some items like cooking oil, onions, silver fish and curries from Kisoga a nearby town and she travels frequently which is expensive. She would wish to increase the capital in her business with this loan so she will stock all items at the food kiosk and reduce the frequency of doing the shopping to at least once in two weeks. This will enable her earn higher profits to support the family.
Personal situation
Harriet Nagujja an ex employee in a coffee factory in Banda a village in the Mukono District originates from the south western part of the country. She is physically disabled and the role of taking care of her family of four is in her hands. She lives with three grand children and earns a living from a food kiosk and small scale farming. The hope that this business will earn more income to sustain her and her three grand children is why she is requesting for a loan.
