Zaina, a hard working lady and mother to two sells second hand ladies and children clothes which she has operated for 3 years. She buys her clothes from Owino market in Kampala city and sells while moving door to door in areas of kakuba, Nakisunga, Namaiba, Kiyanja, among others. Zaina is borrowing to add various cloth designs so as to attract many customers.
Zaina narrates that she was born in Ssemutto and studied but drooped out of school in primary seven after her parents had failed to pay. Later on she went to train in tailoring which she completed and got married with 6 children After her husband’s death, she started to rear pigs for 7 years to date, clothes selling for 2 years so as to cater for her children. Joyce is borrowing to add capital to her business so as to honor her family responsibilities.
