Business plan
Margret opened this shop with the proceeds from her farm. As the demand for these items by her village mates who were majority of her customers increased she restocked with the profits earned till she acquired most of items needed. Her village is a little distant from the major trading centre which makes it difficult for families to trek in search of essential items which they can easily buy from her shop. She sells items like sugar, posho, soap, cooking oil, batteries, cakes, matchbox, spices though but the quantity is still low due to lack of capital. She also lacks other items like rice and since she started this shop as a food kiosk she needs to improve it and make it look better to be able to properly display the items more openly with the help of the loan.
Personal situation
Margret was born in Kawuki Village, Kayunga District, studied up to senior 2 and dropped out due to lack of money since her Father had passed away so there was no one to pay fees. The only option was to get married in order to be able to access basic needs.
