Business plan
Scovia has a retail shop at her home, with items like sugar, salt, matchboxes, tealeaves, soap and other items. Since the premises are strategically located near the road where the population of buyers is very high. The shop was located at the trading centre but due to high competition, she decided to take it to her village which has no other shop hers being the first. As compared to other shops she has few items though and she wishes to improve this shop better. In order to buy items to stock in her shop, she walks 45 minutes to the nearest trading centre where she picks motorcycle to take her to the nearest upcoming town to do her shopping. This enables her with more income hence educating her children.
Personal situation
Scovia lost both her parents when she was young and she was brought up by her elder brothers. Her education standard is low because she dropped out early from school. She is married to her current husband and they have four children who are all studying. They bought a piece of land and built a small structure where the family lives.
