Business plan
Oliver is one of the few coffee farmers in her area and she takes her business quite seriously since it helps her yield funds to educate, medicate and feed her children. Oliver has about 1.5 acres of land that she uses to cultivate coffee. Oliver says that at the moment all her coffee plantation is bushy and she only sprays them with pesticides and herbicides to prevent disease and pest spread though the chemicals are also rather expensive and the few profits that she has so far got are not able to do much in her garden since she also uses them for her personal needs that is why she wants to take out a loan and be able to buy the chemicals. Oliver says this will help her keep her coffee plants healthy and thus yield more coffee and in return she will make more profits.
Personal situation
Oliver was born in Kawuna and she studied from Mugomba primary school upto primary seven and she failed to continue with her education because her parents couldn’t afford secondary school fees. Oliver later got married and her husband gave her land for cultivating.
