Gorreti has been in the farming business for 16 years. She grows bananas and coffee on a large scale and sells to traders from Ssi and Lugazi who buy the crops directly from the garden. The bananas are sold varying from the size. She makes good sells and these yield profit which helps her provide food and education for her children. Gorreti asks for a loan so that, she can buys fertilizers and also pay laborers. She believes that, this farming business can grow and in the future help her raise her children with quality education as well as sustaining the home especially along the lines of providing food and medication
Gorreti was born in Namataba in Buikwe district, went for primary school in Namataba but dropped out in primary six since girl education was not given value. She then got married moved to her husband’s hone in Gaaba. However years later her marriage did not work out and so they separated and she started farming so as to earn a living.
