Business plan
Hasifa runs a retail shop from her home which is located along the main road in Ngogwe town. She sells items like sugar, salt, rice beans, tealeaves, bread, soap, baking flour, tomatoes and silver fish among others which she buys from Lugazi and the silver fish is bought from those who bring it from the landing site. She adds that at the moment the items sold in her shop are still very few so she wants to use the loan to improve on it such that it can attract more buyers who prefer buying from well stocked shops.
Personal situation
Hasifa says that her father refused to educate all the girls in her place claiming that they were supposed to get married and he gets dowry. She then started farming to support her family and currently she manages a retail shop which she would like to boost with the loan..
