Business plan
Loy has been farming on small scale for two years. She wants to plant maize on large scale however this needs enough land which she does not have. She would like to hire an acre of land to plant maize, buy seeds, pesticides and employ people to help her plant with the loan. She says this will yield high harvests of 8-10 bags of maize thus she expects to earn at least more income since maize is on high demand by schools in her area. In the coming years she will be able to expand to at least 3-4 acres with the earnings.
Personal situation
Loy was born in Mutayi village in Jinja district, studied up to senior six and qualified in teaching. She taught for some time but things were not moving ion so she decided to get married
