Business plan
Hellen buys her items from nearby villages of Kiyoola and Mpumu directly from the farmer’s gardens at a cheaper price and transports them on a motorcycle and some on her head to her stall where she sells them. Hellen says she wants to buy in bulk such that she can save on the daily transport costs as well as be able to have a variety to offer her customers though her capital at the moment is a little too small but she is hopeful that SYPO will be able to assist her achieve this through a loan and in return she will earn more profits that she will use to start a piggery farm in the near future.
Personal situation
Hellen was born in a family of 8 children though both her parents were very poor but she struggled to study hard since she was very bright and when she was in her primary four she got a scholarship from her school and she studied up to primary seven though she was not able to continue with her education because the money was not available from her parents. She later got married and her husband gave her money to start her business.
