Business plan
Ruth decided to start selling raw food stuffs since food always has market. The kiosk is located at the roadside along Kisoga- Katosi road. She pays a substantial amount for her premise and the business is operating smoothly. She sells egg plants, sugarcane, tomatoes, and green vegetables. She hopes to expand the business to include other items like bananas and snacks to supplement her business. She sells to travelers who are mostly from Katosi, school children and families around her kiosk. She operates her business next to a shop thus to also target those who come to buy items in the shop.
Personal situation
Ruth attained ordinary level of education which was the only thing her parents could afford. She sought employment helping people run their own businesses until she decided to open her own Kiosk. She is married and her husband is a motorcyclist at the major trading centre in Kisoga where the family lives. As a woman at home she helps him shoulder part of the responsibilities which eases access to basic needs. She has the desire to help her husband further but the income from her business is low that’s why she desires to get this loan
