Business plan
Annet’s husband gave her 1.5 acre of land which she divided into portions and each portion has a different type of food crop ranging from bananas, sweet potatoes and cassava. Annet says that most of the time she sells off her food items in the market and she says that at the moment most of her food crops are not fully matured yet she has customers that cannot wait up to harvest period and besides food selling is her source of income that is why Annet wants to take out a loan and buy the food items in bulk and thus keep her business running and also make more profits that she will use to educate her daughter and take care of herself.
Personal situation
Annet was born in Buwenge Jinja district and studied from there upto primary school and she dropped out of school due to lack of school fees. Annet says she got married at a very tender age though it was not successful because of failure to conceive. Annet went back to her parents and remarried again in Kiyanja and her husband gave her land to cultivate in order to earn a living.
