Business plan
Caroline is a hard working woman. She lived in the fishing area for many years but realized that she could not achieve more as years went by. She left her daughter to stay there and she returned to Busale where she had her piece of land. She owns a plantation of bananas but she says this requires a lot of patience since it takes time for one to realize good harvest. For the past years her harvests have been poor because she lacks income to her buy fertilizers which are expensive. She made her first sales and decided to borrow money from one of the traders and they both agreed that she would buy fertilizers for her crops. She bought NPK, pesticides and Urea and last year’s harvests were really good. She has decided that she needs to reduce her expenses on fertilizers thus her point is to rear cows such that she uses cow dung as manure. She earns highly due to the previous loan.
