Business plan 
Pauline Nabatanzi’s business is charcoal selling and she wishes to expand it to another level by investing the loan in it. She currently buys trees from Nakajaga forest a privately owned forest and burns the charcoal herself. She sells to whole sale basis. For the piggery, she has 3 pigs so far and intends to add 4 more after getting the loan. Pauline feeds her animals on grass, food peelings and sweet potato and cassava leaves plus maize brand which she feeds them occasionally since its costly. Pauline expects all her businesses to be successful after adding the loan to them which will improve her standard of living.
Personal situation 
Pauline Nabatanzi studied up to primary six and dropped out. she started to work as a cleaner for 6 years and later studied to sell charcoal and Pineapple which she quitted for marriage but when her husband lost his job, she decided to come to the village in Nakisunga and started to farm Vanilla which never worked well as its market collapsed and they started to make charcoal, and rearing of local hens, piggery plus cows for the previous 3 years to date.
