Betty runs a kiosk business of soft drinks and snacks like chapattis, sambusa and cakes business in Ssenyi trading centre. Personal situation 
Betty was born in Namutumba district in a family of 9 children, she studied in Namutumba for her primary and secondary school but dropped out in senior two due to lack of money after the death of her father because her mother could not afford paying her school fees any more. Years later Betty got married and moved to her husband’s home in Ssenyi. Betty's husband gave her money and she started kiosk of drinks and snacks business.
